So William Regal Does Replace Tiffany?

Published by ragged316 at 12:29 am under All Edit This

Tiffany and William Regal

According to reports, Tiffany suffered a pretty bad shoulder injury at last week’s FCW show. The WWE made up the car accident excuse to cover it up. It may not flow smoothly in the world of kayfabe to say the truth. To fill her shoes, the WWE put in a man I said should replace Tiffany a few weeks ago. William Regal took over this week. What will the coming weeks hold?

Obviously, when I wrote about Tiffany being replaced, I was talking about something more long-term than what this may end up being. It is somewhat ironic that Tiffany originally had the role of interim GM after Teddy Long left ECW. Now they may be having an interim GM for the interim GM? It is true that William Regal is still in the middle of his big push on ECW, but does that mean he cannot be GM and have a wrestling push? He was getting a pretty good run for part of 2008. I would not mind seeing a bit of that again, until Tiffany returns to possibly take back her spot at least.

It is a shame when I get something I would like to see at the expense of a serious injury to another person. I do not believe Tiffany should be rushed back at all. Why did they stick her so fast in a televised role anyway? Wrestling should really come first. She had a vital role on WWE television, but when this injury comes around, whatever other plans the WWE had for ECW must be reworked. What if the WWE forced all their women in FCW to pull double duty? I can understand a grace period as they make the shift to the main roster, but Tiffany has not been around for a month or two. She did not have to be debuted as fast as she was. Back to my point, if injury occurs while these FCW women are still learning the trade in development, and should they have had a vital angle on WWE television, things may get ruined on both sides. The women lose time on FCW and WWE. If a diva competing solely in the WWE gets injured, at least the problem is a bit more contained. Moreover, if only solid workers are moving over to WWE programming to compete, it may become less likely that they will be prone to injury. When they move less-experienced divas, even with non-wrestling roles, onto the main roster, these women may still run the risk of injury back in FCW. That has happened here. No one needs to tell me when I am arguing in circles and rambling like an idiot. I wish Tiffany the best in her recovery.
