Notes On Natalya and Mickie James

Published by ragged316 at 1:23 am under All, Mickie James Edit This

Natalya

Natalya has moved to ECW, valeting for Tyson Kidd (her real boyfriend, T.J. Wilson). She also has a new look, has added some color to her character, and is face. Most importantly, she may finally be getting a good push.

For ECW divas, this means that Alicia and Natalya are now the faces and Katie is the only heel. Alicia has not been seen in a month, however. A feud between Tyson/Natalya and The Burchills is very possible, but it looks like Jamie Noble will cause them some trouble first.

For Smackdown divas, they lose a heel at a time when they really needed one. Natalya was not being used well, that is true, but McCool is the only current Smackdown heel not injured. I have already mentioned the faces are not that experienced themselves. Gail Kim, where are you? Why could they not debut Tyson Kidd on Smackdown as a heel? I know ECW is meant for the younger stars, but Smackdown really needed Natalya. Nevertheless, because the walls separating ECW from Raw and Smackdown are so weak, she can always be called back to Smackdown for special matches. But as a face? Defeats the purpose.

In the end, I am hoping the push really goes somewhere for her.

Mickie James

I have been waiting for hours to see if the next part of the Cryme Tyme scheme would show up on the WWE website. If they put it up, they did a great job hiding it. If they are going to put it up tomorrow, that will be a change, but I will talk about it then. It seems likely that we may be dealing with the worst case here, and for the sake of analysis, that is the case I am going to talk about.

Has the plot been scrapped? Was Mickie not on Raw at all? If so, why could Cryme Tyme not have done a short segment to further the plot on their own? It does not help that they were in a match on Raw, acting like everything was pretty normal, and then jobbing. I was going to complain about the lack of continuity between the segments and what happens on Raw, but it may just be that Cryme Tyme competed as they did because the scheme is over. Dropped. Dead. Never to be seen again. And now Mickie is left with nothing to do on Raw? That may change after the Women’s Championship match next week, but that is not for certain. If it really is finished without a finish, this is another example of how the WWE is mistreating Mickie James. Before I jump to further conclusions, let’s just see what a few days bring.

In another note, let me say something positive. Mickie will be involved in the Superstar Q&A before No Way Out this Sunday. It will be on the WWE website. At least it is something for her to do.
