Bad Luck For Christy Hemme

Published by ragged316 at 2:39 pm under All Edit This

Christy Hemme

As everyone now knows, Christy Hemme had a neck injury while training, forcing her out of her title match last night. I am not a TNA booker, and I am not even an avid viewer of their shows, but I doubt they would have Christy Hemme lose to Awesome Kong in a title match twice. TNA was itching to make Christy Hemme the next top face. As I have said before, she was not a bad choice at that. WWE made a mistake of letting her go. I am not saying she is the grandest wrestler, but her sexy charisma is a definite draw while she improves further. If Christy did not actually win the title last night, I can see only another impressive showing, a DQ or countout, a loss due to interference, which may lead to another side feud to develop her further, or another finish to make her look good. Unlike the WWE’s treatment of certain women in relation to a certain “dominant” Raw diva, TNA actually wants to foster Christy’s popularity. There are rumors that she does not want the surgery. It is her life. If she thinks she can heal naturally or work through it, that is up to her, her doctors, and TNA. If she wants to stop wrestling too, that is her decision. But time will tell how these rumors play out.

On a side note, TNA Knockout’s Champion Awesome Kong is injured with a minor back problem. She should not be out for long, however, so will keep her title.

    Ouch! poor Christy.

I can only say that those people in this buisness risk their health for our entertainment and the response they get from many people is only “They are faked” etc.

    People are dumb.

I wish both Hemme and Kong great health, and that these setbacks will not hurt either btheir career or their health in the long run.
